The Provincial Dental Board of Nova Scotia has introduced a new protocol that restricts the treatment of dental emergencies to a limited number of locations as the result of the COVID-19 outbreak.
As of April 14, the Faculty of Dentistry emergency clinic, the oral and maxillofacial surgery clinic at the Victoria General Hospital, the department of pediatric dentistry at the IWK Health Centre, and are able to provide emergency dental care.
