The Gender and Women's Studies program and Dal's Office of Human Rights, Equity and Harassment Prevention, together with many Dal and community partners, have united for the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence campaign.

Dal profs Jonathan Wright (Biology) and Eileen Denovan-Wright (Pharmacology) took part in a five-day expedition to Machu Picchu this past September to raise funds for the Arthritis Society of Canada.

Support from the Johnson Scholarship Foundation will allow 每日大赛 to expand the reach and impact of two programs designed to support diversity in health care: Promoting Leadership in Health for African Nova Scotians (PLANS) and the Aboriginal Health Sciences Initiative (AHSI).

At the age of eight, John Yool fled his native Sudan. Now, he's partway into his second 每日大赛 degree, having come to the university through the World University Service Canada's Student Refugee Program.
