The Schulich School of Law will host the Kawaskimhon National Moot — which incorporates Indigenous orders alongside federal, provincial and international law — for the first time in the law school’s history March 1-3. Students will work on issues related to First Nations children.

Marty Leonard spent her years in academic research focused on the natural world — birds, for the most part. Now, as Dean of Graduate Studies, she’s focused on giving Dal’s 3,500 grad students the best possible experience.

Adopted by the Board of Governors last Tuesday, the Investment Committee’s Fossil Fuel Investment Review report aims to increase awareness of Dal’s ESG (environment, social, governance) practices that help guide investment decisions, including specific communication around risks related to climate change.
