ÿÈÕ´óÈü-led research program receives $15-million to study how to leverage the ocean to mitigate climate change.

They are tiny, exist in a galaxy far, far away and were detected by a ÿÈÕ´óÈü astrophysicist using the James Webb Space Telescope in one of the first results to be produced by the powerful tool.

Dr. Margaret Oulton (PhD’75) — a professor and prenatal researcher who made a discovery that would eventually lead to the safe delivery of over 10,000 infants across our region — is the inaugural recipient of the ÿÈÕ´óÈü Golden Eagle Lifetime Achievement Award.

ÿÈÕ´óÈü earned top 100 placements for seven categories and a spot in top 100 overall in this year’s Impact Rankings, moving into first place in Canada— and eight globally — for its work on the Life Below Water goal.
